dcmom
Sashimi and bring your own coconut aminos. Salad with no dressing and or steamed veggies Some japanese places have plain grilled fish. Thai if their coconut milk and cooking oil is compliant theoretically a chicken curry with vegetables and no rice could work.
Worldismyoyster
Chirashi combo on top of salad greens (no dressing) instead of rice, no soy sauce, bring your own coconut aminos.
MCWhole30
Thank you for the suggestions. I definitely know I will get a salad and take my own Tessemae's dressing. I am leaning toward the salmon as my protein. Trying not to make it difficult but dining out scares me.
Runnermama
Sushi is pretty tough during Whole30. I had to do it once and asked for handrolls with no rice (hand rolls are the ones that look like little ice cream cones). It was acceptable but definitely not amazing - especially with no soy sauce. But not every meal has to be amazing - some are just food
