Aflyingbuttress
Is Salad Power juice compliant? The ingredients only show fruit and vegetables. I know juice is technically allowed but in limited quantities. I probably only drink juice once a week. If I was going to have some, would these be ok? https://www.amazon.com/SaladPower-Variety-Vegetable-Sodium-Vegetables/dp/B01MG4MAN4/ref=lp_13319126011_1_1_a_it?srs=13319126011&ie=UTF8&qid=1490456620&sr=8-
ArtFossil
It's only 30 days--eat your food, don't drink it! Your body responds differently--physically and psychologically--to chewing vs just swallowing and you'll get better nutrition from real food. If you want the most benefits from your Whole30 you'll save the drinks for after your Whole30 and reintroduction.
Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted March 25, 2017 Moderators Share Posted March 25, 2017 The answer to your question is yes, the ingredients are technically compliant. The real answer is above in what Artfossil wrote, altho drinking a juice IN ADDITION to a meal once a week won't kill you.
Aflyingbuttress
I wasn't planning to use it as a meal supplement. I thought I'd drink it occasionally but I don't need to. I also though I could use it in cooking, like as a soup or sauce base or perhaps creating a salad dressing.
Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted March 26, 2017 Moderators Share Posted March 26, 2017 Cooking with it would definitely work and it would probably make a really nice vinegarette
