MRKN
I recently purchased a cast iron skillet and am loving searing my steak on the stovetop before placing it in the oven - living in an apartment this is the only way to get decently cooked steaks. I only use Pink Himalayan Sea Salt, Avacado Oil, and Black Pepper. And as a 29 year old man I do enjoy my steak. My question specifically, is can I use this as a crutch for dinners, say 2 out of every 3 nights? Sorry I am only about halfway through "It Starts With Food". Thanks! slc_melissa
You can have it for every single meal if you want. Eating a variety of foods can help with getting a variety of nutrients, but you can eat whatever compliant ingredients you want. It's not a crutch, it's just food. There was someone once who basically only ate beef and I believe zucchini for his entire whole 30. (And some sort of fat, of course.)
