Nicole M
I searched the forums and can't seem to find anything with instructions how to make coconut butter, and I want to start using it as an additional fat source. I have read somewhere (that I can't find now) that you can take unsweetened flakes and run them in the food processor for a few minutes to do it. Is this correct?? Any other suggestions? luvbnhealthy
Yes, that is what you do. I viewed a youtube video and it's just coconut in a food processor or blender. It takes a while, but it eventually gets there.
HealingWithin
Yes, just shredded coconut will do it. It takes at least 10 or 15 minutes, though. I add a little melted coconut oil to help it along.
