purplepadres
Having surgery is very traumatic to your body. Try eating a modified BRAT diet (bananas, cauliflower rice, applesauce, and sweet potato toast). Bone broth can also help. Take any prescribed medications, and get plenty of rest so that your body can recover.
slc_melissa
You'd need to list out a few days of food so we can help troubleshoot, but: eat more fat. No, really. Make sure all your meals are up to the template, salt your food, and drink plenty of water. If you're not eating enough, you can get nauseous, which makes you not want to eat, which makes you feel worse, etc. I second the bone broth, maybe some tea/coffee with coconut milk. Soups would be good. I wouldn't go for cauliflower if you're stomach's not feeling great, though. (Depending on you - cruciferous vegetables can be problematic for some people.) Some soup ideas: http://meljoulwan.com/2012/11/05/silky-gingered-zucchini-soup/ http://thechrisellefactor.com/2017/12/the-golden-soup-that-will-make-your-skin-glow/ If you're on pain medications, that can really mess with your appetite and stomach as well. What kind of surgery did you have (if you're comfortable sharing)?
