PhoenixH
I plan to start Whole30 on Monday. I've been getting rid of the stuff in my pantry and fridge that aren't on the plan. I do have some salted sunflower & pumpkin seeds. Are they okay? Also, I think I'm reading that almonds and walnuts are okay, but peanuts are not. Just want to make sure I start off on the right foot! Have a google 'whole30 sunflower seeds' and 'whole30 pumpkin seeds'. Google is the best way to search the forum and Whole30 resources for answers to common questions. Peanuts are a legume and not a nut which is why they're not allowed, even tho the name says 'nut' in it
TryingOver
I would check the ingredients list. Even though sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds are allowed, many roasted seeds are roasted in peanut oil and therefore still not compliant since peanuts are a legume.
