Hi! I'm going to start a Whole30 tomorrow! Quick question: as I am going through all the posts, I see references to mini-meals... Is a mini-meal just half of a regular meal template? I can't seem to find a definitive answer...

Yes, basically... we generally suggest people eat protein and fat and then ideally veggies - about a half serving of each... if you don't get the veggies in and you just do a hardboiled egg and mayo or leftover meatballs and guac or something, that's fine too.  We just don't recommend fruit and nuts/nut products as the mini meal as they don't have staying power like protein and fat and can leave you craving sugar.
