Rupey
Was on day 5 and feeling great until I ate a banana. It was starting to get the brown areas on the peel but all good on the inside. About an hour after eating I got severe stomach pain to the point of curling up in a ball. About an hour of this and then was fine. What is causing the stomach pain? As a side note I had eaten a bright yellow banana on day one and had no problems at all.
Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted January 15, 2019 Moderators Share Posted January 15, 2019 Hard to say... maybe leave bananas off your Whole30 for a while. The riper a banana gets, the more sugars it develops whereas a less ripe banana is going to be starchier. Maybe your stomach didn't like all that sugar. Did you eat the banana on its own on an empty stomach? Could it have been gas pain?
Rupey
I had it with just a small amount of almond butter. I've never had issues with almond butter in the past.
