Pandora Black
I’m suffering from major food boredom. I’m thinking a marinade/dressing to spice up my meat and put on my veggies would help. I can’t afford to buy one. I just checked my pantry and I have red and white wine vinegar. Unfortunately my balsamic is not compliant. I also have plenty of lemons, olive oil, and various spices. I have fresh rosemary and fresh oregano. Can any of you give me a good recipe?
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted May 19, 2019 Moderators Share Posted May 19, 2019 Maybe this one: http://meljoulwan.com/2011/01/25/tangy-goodness-creamy-italian-dressing/ Or maybe a chimichurri: http://meljoulwan.com/2014/07/02/chimichurri-aka-magic-sauce/ -- if you don't have parsley, maybe spinach or another leafy green? Or if you have ghee, maybe a hollandaise: https://www.stephgaudreau.com/easy-paleo-ghee-hollandaise-sauce/ If there's something you wanted to make that called for the balsamic, you might try it and then if it needs to be a bit sweeter to taste right, add a bit of fruit juice or pureed fruit. Whole30 Certified Coach Lindseydalton Posted May 19, 2019 Whole30 Certified Coach Share Posted May 19, 2019 This dressing sounds so good and would be great as a marinade too. If you don't have compliant Dijon mustard I bet regular would taste just as good https://www.theendlessmeal.com/lifesaving-lemony-salad-dressing/
