PAINTED PEGGIES
Hi all...newbie here:-) I was using the Thai coconut milk but today I bought Golden Star brand. Only ingredients coconut milk and water. It is totally solid...no thin liquid at all. The other one has always been separated in the can. Thoughts? Susan W
The ones that only contain coconut and water are always really thick. Sometimes different cans of the same brand are even different. No worries, it's good stuff.
Robin Strathdee
I don't like the coconut water, so I prefer it when that happens But the main difference is that the guar gum in Thai Kitchen is used to keep it homogenized. Golden Star doesn't have that, so consistency varies.
