Oats mom Posted January 19, 2013 Share Posted January 19, 2013 I am on day 19 of the whole 30 and every day I have had unquenchable thirst the whole day. Dry chapped lips as well. I do live in Maine with lots of snow but I have never been this thirsty in the winter ever! I never have been big in drinking water but I drink about 4 bottles (large) a day now and still have a dry dry dry mouth.... Any ideas other than more water! I feel like Nemo! Robin Strathdee Posted January 20, 2013 Share Posted January 20, 2013 Oats mom - I have no idea why it helps, but adding extra fat to my food (as a dressing, for example) seems to resolve this issue for me (especially the lips). Throw some extra olive oil on your veggies and some coconut milk in your coffee for a day or two and see if that helps. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
