Courtney Wendel-Stevenson
Hi everyone! I just finished reading "It Starts With Food" and began my first Whole30 on Monday. I thought I was doing pretty well, but when I was cooking my breakfast yesterday I looked at the back of my Applegate bacon and saw it has sugar in it. I had no idea. Does that mean I need to start over? Aside from the bacon I think I've been doing well.
Susan W
I would add some days at the end if it were me. I am pretty strict about sugar, dairy, grains. If you said you had one piece of bacon one morning, that might be different. Sugar is something to look for in everything. It's sneaky stuff. A moderator may chime in and say something different. Robin Strathdee
Honestly, I think you're fine to keep going. Treat this one as a lesson in reading labels
