Joy
Firstly are you guys aware that many links on this site don't actually go to a shopping guide but redirect to the 'buy our book now' page? I found the shopping guide last night somewhere and the first thing it said was don't eat bacon. I'm already on day 8 and don't plan on eating any more bacon of a non-pastured, sugar added kind, but my question is, do I have to start the 30 day count over for this to really have the best effect? Moderators Tom Denham Posted June 27, 2012 Moderators Share Posted June 27, 2012 The book is pitched at the top of some pages, but if you look farther down, you'll see the main content of the page. The shopping guide recommends avoiding commercially raised processed meats including bacon. The rules of the Whole30 eliminate most bacon because it is difficult to find any without added sugar. That said, the amount of sugar in bacon is not high enough to wreck your Whole30, but you would get the best effect by continuing a whole 30 days with great foods exclusively. qqemokitty
I haven't been able to find the shopping guide at all actually, outside of purchasing the book (which I am planning to do partly for that reason.) I did find the seasonal fruit and veggie guide pdf and that is very helpful!
