ChildoftheKing7777
After the broth has cooled in the fridge, and you're ready to use it, how do you know if you need to add water to it or not? Do you just use it straight, or does it need diluted?
Susan W
No need to add water. I usually scrape off any fat that congeals and put it in separate containers. I freeze some and keep some in the fridge for recipes or to heat and drink.
k.a.e.
I never added water to mine. I also measured a cup and froze it in ice cubes....then I knew how many ice cubes of broth equalled a cup. It was a great way to store it!
Beets
I feel like if you add just enough water to cover the bones, backs, etc., the stock will be the right concentration. If anything I will cook mine down if it tastes watery (or I can't fit into my container).
