MaryellenB
I am having so many good things all around - I'm on day 16 and really enjoying the difference in my body. EXCEPT with my hair! It's falling out in clumps. I do not understand this at all. Did anyone else lose a tonne of hair during their Whole 30?
Carlaccini
Not during - but after I did. When you're diet changes your hormones start adjusting. And from what I know it can affect your hair. Mine did stop at one point but then when my diet went more SAD for a bit I started losing it again.
MaryellenB
That makes sense post-pregnancy, when hormone levels stop dropping. I wonder if something similar is happening without the crazy sugar + insulin spikes that interact with other body hormone levels.
Jinkse21
I take a medication for my RA that requires me to also take a Folic Acid pill every day to help prevent hair loss. I found the following site which list foods high in folic acid so maybe try adding these into your diet to decrease hair loss... http://www.globalhealingcenter.com/natural-health/folic-acid-foods/
