Dana_TXRN
I bought 5lbs of grass finished beef fat and just finished rendering it to fat for cooking. Left behind were the most lovely "cracklings" and I was wondering if I could eat them as my fat or are they just too supernnormally wonderful. They may not be called CRACKlings for nothing! Moderators Tom Denham Posted July 20, 2013 Moderators Share Posted July 20, 2013 You can eat the cracklings. I think it is wonderful to use all the parts.

Is there an official opinion or do you have one? Thanks, Nico
Robin Strathdee
The official opinion is that you're better off leaving those parts out of your diet and making up your fat in another way.
