CZONE
I was wondering what is the best foods to eat to maximize fat burning before working out?I'm not an athlete. Workout moderately 3-4 days a week. Want to make sure I'm burning the right fuel. Thanks
amberino21
the recommended preWO is fat and protein - HB eggs are perfect, or a tin of fish in oil, protein with some nuts/avo/mayo etc don't forget your postWO too - that's probably more important! lean protein and starchy vegies are recommended for postWO. Honey Sue
I usually eat a piece of turkey and some olives before working out. Afterwards I have one or two "muffins" made out of egg whites, sweet potato and cinnamon. So basically what amberino21 said, fat and protein preWOD, protein and starch postWOD! isa-baerchen
Hello, maybe it's already written somewhere, but I couldn't find something with the search bar. Does the Whole30 recommend a Pre AND a post-WO meal or is it either pre OR post-WO meal? Already thanks for your help!
jmcbn
It's all very personal & relative to the intensity of your WO, and how hungry you are before it.Fasted training doesn't work for me so if I'm training first thing in the morning I make sure I've had a pre WO. I almost always have a post WO though, unless it's very late and I've no time to incorporate both postWO & M3.Play around with it and see what works for you.
