Day 3 - then the stomach flu hit

Ugh, so sorry that this bug hit you! Nothing worse. Do your best. I make my own bone broth from chicken carcasses. It is so warm and comforting, AND is very good for the gut.

Personally, I've never struggled to keep either eggs or soup (broth) down, but your mileage may vary. Be mindful to stay hydrated!

Getting the flu and feeling stuck eating canned soup or nothing reminded me to make and stock up on lots of bone broth in case something like that happened again. I felt too wiped out to cook at the time, so my only advice is to plan ahead if possible by making and freezing broth and gentle soups. I'm glad to see a list of suggestions in one place here!
