Delaine Ross
I heard from a Whole 9/Paleo nutritionist that if an ingredient list has "spices" or "natural flavorings" without listing the actual names of spices, that it is probably a packet of spices bpught from a third party that more than likely has MSG. This is why I have always avoided the Thai Kitchen curries that I have read on this forum is ok. Am I being too extreme??
Adagio
I don't buy anything that states "spices" or "natural flavors" on the label. I want to know exactly what is in my food.
Renee Lee
It's kind of a personal preference of how far you want to go down the rabbit hole. I'm automatically skeptical of anything that says "natural flavoring," but I love polar seltzer too much to care (tbh). In spice blends, I personally avoid them because it is pretty easy to find awesome spice blends that are totally clean, but they aren't officially forbidden.
