dipitie
I wasn't sure which forum to put this in, but I love scary movies and recently started thinking about how it could affect my cortisol levels. Then I started thinking about adrenaline sports - skiing, snowboarding, skydiving, etc. I'm not super crazy or anything, but are these things I should be minimizing exposure to? I'm really curious if my horror movie addiction is partly to blame for my adrenal fatigue.
missmary
I actually think this is true. I used to be embarrassed that I was too much of a wimp for horror movies, but now I just avoid them because I don't enjoy them and I think they add unnecessary stress. Anything that brings up that "fight or flight" response in you should be approached in moderation, definitely worth a try scaling back to see if it helps with your adrenal fatigue. iteach
Well this is truly interesting and something worthy of looking into....and put a gigantic smile on my face. I would think that the heart racing feeling might actually help burn calories.
