Kdweb2
Hi, I'm on Day 2 of my first whole 30. I know coconut products are encouraged (thank goodness!) but is stabiliser 466 in my coconut milk and coconut cream OK? If not, does anyone know any compliant coconut milk and cream in Australia? Thanks!
GFChris
That looks ok, given previous discussion on a similar product with that ingredient. http://forum.whole9life.com/topic/8498-blue-dragon-coconut-milk/
Kdweb2
Thanks Chris! Would coconut cream with berries be classified as a 'paleofying' dessert? I think of it as just a substitution for greek yoghurt, but I think I actually enjoy the coconut cream more. I'm hoping I can still enjoy coconut cream, home granola (coconut flakes and nuts and cinnamon) and berries
Peebles
Just out of curiosity: what makes this less bad than the other sugar alcohols (like sorbitol)? Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose gets the same "warning" of "Large concentrations can cause intestinal problems, such as bloating, constipation and diarrhoea." GoJo09
Ayam Coconut Cream (only the one in the green can - don't get the organic light cream, as that has stabilisers and is mostly water) is 100% coconut only, and tastes delicious.
