Tiffini
The day I was to start the Whole 30 program I got sick with a stomach bug. I had 3 days of diarrhea and have not been able to eat much since then. It has now been 7 days. I have stuck to the Whole30 plan even though sick. I've barely eaten anything for 7 days and lost 7lbs. My stomach is still sore and food looks unappetizing. I will get hungry and try to eat but only can handle very little. I was wondering if I should take a day or so off and eat some crackers to help soothe & heal my stomach or if there is something else that you would recommend that would be acceptable on this plan to help my stomach and intestinal system heal. wendelina
I find bone broth / chicken broth made at home really helps settle me out. I love how it smells when hot - it smells like the happiest of chicken soups, and just oozes health. Well maybe not that last bit, but that's how it makes me feel. It's heartier than other liquids, but it's not full-on food, so maybe it will help you out?
praxisproject
Some sweet potato or potato soup should help. There's lots of other starches besides grains. They often don't make stomachs feel better.
