Rocket
Would drinking kombucha (or something other than water) over several hours mess with one's blood sugar? Scenario: At work I will often grab a kombucha after lunch and drink it over the rest of my shift. I'm not able to drink it all in one go as I barely have time to eat my lunch. I drink GT's and select Buchi kombuchas (Actually there may only be one that is compliant and it has double the sugar of the GT's that I normally drink.). Moderators Tom Denham Posted September 17, 2014 Moderators Share Posted September 17, 2014 I doubt it, but I usually complete a bottle of GT's in less than 10 minutes after I finish my lunch.

It usually takes me at least 30 minutes to drink one because of the fizz factor!

Kombucha messes with my blood sugar every time I drink it, no matter what the brand. It doesn't work for me. I skip it, take pro biotics and eat fermented veggies.
