frantastic
so, I bought some of the delightful Pederson's no-sugar bacon. If I wanted to have bacon as part of a mini meal, could I count it as my protein and my fat? Moderators Tom Denham Posted September 24, 2014 Moderators Share Posted September 24, 2014 Bacon is protein, but it is more fat than protein, so we do not recommend using it as your protein for a meal. If you include a couple of slices of bacon with some veggies as a mini-meal, however, you would be okay. I don't think it measures up to be your protein at a regular meal.
