Bone Broth - fat, protein...what is it?

Homemade bone broth is variable depending upon a variety of factors related to inputs and cooking approach. And seriously, calculating too much is bad for you. Drink a mug of broth at breakfast and see how it factors into your satiety across the coming hours.

I treat bone broth as a health supplement equivalent to water or a nice cup of tea.  I drink it mid morning as a soothing and comforting warm beverage, sometimes I'll have more at night before bed and when I have a fresh batch going, I drink it as often as I can.  I believe that there is more good in it than can be measured in a macronutrient title, therefore I've never even tried to box it in.

 

Drink up! Your gut, nails, skin, hair, connective tissues will thank you!
