EleanorB
Hi everyone, I've seen a recommendation on the forum a few times to drink 0.5oz per lb body weight of water. However, I'm from the UK and have absolutely no idea what this means! Can anyone help me out? How does that convert into litres and kilograms? If it helps, when I started I weighed 140lb, I think. Thank you!
Moderators Tom Denham Posted October 30, 2014 Moderators Share Posted October 30, 2014 So 140 pounds would call for 70 ounces. Converting 70 ounces to liters means 2.0701 liters of water per day. http://www.metric-conversions.org/volume/us-ounces-to-liters.htm

kirkor
or roughly 33 mL per kg of body "weight" Dang, I thought I was going to be Mr. Awesome for bringing this to the forum, but I see it's been covered already. But ya: drink 3.3% of your weight in kilograms in liters.
