Coconut allergy

Experiment with compliant fats like ghee, clarified butter, lard, tallow, and duck fat to substitute for coconut oil, depending on the flavor profile you want.

I can't think of an adequate compliant substitute for coconut milk in cooking, but perhaps others will have ideas.

some people will use other nut milks in recipes to replace coconut milk. Cashew milk is especially good for this because you can just make it on the spot with a bunch of cashews and water (little to no soaking required)--and keep it pretty thick to replicate coconut milk texture (no need to strain it).

 

Homemade mayo is another good base that will make a creamy texture in recipes
