I've also used walnut oil and some folks use coconut oil.

 

Just a note on avocado oil, make sure your oil isn't green. If it is it will be SUPER strong. Basically you need a more refined oil trying to pick from types that use a non-chemical refining process.

I have a Wegmans here and I use their Pure Olive Oil or Light Olive Oil. I haven't tried using any of the other oils they suggest but this stuff makes KILLER mayo! I've used it to make ranch dressing as well. I will never go back to conventional condiments ever again.
