Dlmccoy90
How can I tone down chilli if it is too spicy but stay compliant? I only have ever used sugar and that is a Nono. Help!
kirkor
Add more of every ingredient except the chile powder & cumin.
Rebe_J
That happened to me. I buy spices in the bulk foods department and I didn't check the label closely. The chili powder that I got was "3-alarm" rather than regular. The chili was inedible and I normally like it a little spicey. I added a can of diced tomatoes and some finely shredded carrots. Good luck!

Physibeth
You could also try stirring a can of coconut milk into it. I would think it would be similar to adding sour cream. Don't know about the taste profile as I've never tried it.
