lbres
What do you think of choosing a can of seafood [eg, smoked oysters, mackeral, tuna] in olive oil - only Whole30 ingredient-compliant - as a snack for those moments when one is truly hungry and in need of a mini meal? What about using this option for protein and fat for meals? Thanks!

Moderators Tom Denham Posted April 26, 2015 Moderators Share Posted April 26, 2015 I eat canned salmon at least every other day if not every day.
lbres
So, good choice! Now, if this is a mini meal/ snack, do I need to add a veggie to it as well? Would a starchy option be good like carrots or sweet potato?
AmyS
Yep. I like canned salmon, homemade mayo, and cubed roasted sweet potatoes. Chop up some compliant dill pickles to go in there, and maybe add some wilted dark leafy greens, and you have one of my favorite lunches.
