Mindylouwho
We're getting ready to start our Whole 30 after reading the book. I've read the Can I have... list and scanned a gazillion of these posts but have seen no mention of oysters or clams. We live near the beach, so... yes? no? Thanks! Munkers
If it falls under kingdom Animalia, then you're okay. You can eat ruminants (cows, sheep, etc.), poultry/fowl, fish, crustaceans (shrimp, lobster, etc.), bivalves (mussels, clams, oysters, etc.), insects, other mammals (rabbit), or any other critter that strikes your fancy. There are many, many, MANY animal species and it's just not possible to put together an exhaustive list of all of the approved sources of animal protein.
