Alliea
My friend cooked us a wonderful paleo dinner tonight. I saw all the recipes, and everything was legal except she put two tablespoons of unclarified butter in the pot of soup (the pot was about 6 servings). I didn't have it in me to tell her I wouldn't eat the soup that took her forever to make, though I did only eat half my bowl. I know small amounts of various things are important, but do I really have to start over for something like that?
Robin Strathdee
Here's the question: how do you feel? If you feel fine, then I'd probably keep going.
Alliea
Robin, you are fast becoming my favorite source of advice :-) That is a practical way of thinking about this that didn't occur to me-I feel no difference at all, so will keep going, thanks. Robin Strathdee
What I thought I typed last night (but it was way too late, so apparently I didn't) was this: Chances are, if you didn't feel some negative affect then you didn't have very much at all. This is one of those situations where you have to assess what the cost is, both eating the soup and not eating it. I'd say you made the right choice. Glad to hear it helped you! Only it doesn't cover conscious off plan eating ;0)
