Laughkc11
I am VERY new. Only on Day 2 of my first Whole30. I know I am encouraged to eat avocado, and I absolutely love it. I mean LOVE IT. My question, however, is how much avocado should I be eating in a day? Is one whole avocado per day too much? I usually have a half with breakfast, the other half with lunch. Of course I would love to eat more, but don't want to over do it. I read on another post something about "thumb" measurement. I have no clue what that is either. If this is a topic more appropriate for another forum, I would glady redirect my question. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Renee Lee
1 avocado a day is fine, kc!
Andrea D.
I think one is fine...although maybe try to vary your fat choices to see what else you like. Although, avocado is my fat of choice usually!
amwpillai
I believe a thumb is about a tablespoon. And 1/2-1 avocado per meal is totally fine.
SEGal
The "thumb measurement" is refering to how you measure certain allowed fat's in the plan. It is found in the Whole30 Meal Planning template. Here's the link: http://whole9life.com/book/ISWF-Meal-Planning-Template.pdf
