deann_m
I'm searching through my hot tea selection for an afternoon tea and have come across several rooibos varities. One is, "Pumpkin Spice" and the ingredients are: Rooibos, Vanilla Beans, Nutmeg, Ginger, Honeybush, Cinnamon, Cinnamon flavor, Orange Flavor, Vanilla Flavor, and Butterscotch Flavor. "honeybush" is similar to rooibos...it's tea, not honey. Doesn't look like any added sugar but I'm not quite sure about those listed as "flavors." It's the zhena gypsy tea brand that claims to use all natural, organic ingredients. It is tea, so I'm not sure how much of this I should be concerned about since I am not eating the tea packets. Any thoughts? Thanks!
Derval
the butterscotch flavour would raise alarm bells for me, doesn't sound too natural.. I'm sure a mod will chime in.
Robin Strathdee
I'm with Derval- the idea of "flavors" makes me a bit wary. BUT, I drink teas with "flavors". There's nothing to make it non-compliant, so I say its up to you if it bugs you.
