AL-30
Not sure if I'm late at discovering this, but I was at Starbucks the other day and noticed they now have coconut and almond milk. Super excited about this people!
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted August 24, 2016 Moderators Share Posted August 24, 2016 But be sure you find out the ingredients -- last time I checked online, the coconut milk they were using was definitely not whole30 compliant.
QuilterInVA
It has sugar in it. You have to know the ingredients and not go by the name.
JulieP757
Water, coconut cream, cane sugar, tricalcium phosphate, coconut waterconcentrate, natural flavors, sea salt, carrageenan, gellan gum, corn dextrin, xanthan gum, guar gum, vitamin A palmitate, and vitamin D. These are the ingredients in Starbucks coconut milk. No, no and no.
JulieP757
And these are the ingredients for the almond milk, which I believe are compliant. ALMONDMILK (FILTERED WATER, ALMONDS), SUGAR, TRICALCIUM PHOSPHATE, SUNFLOWER LECITHIN, SEA SALT, XANTHAN GUM, GUAR GUM, VITAMIN A PALMITATE, VITAMIN D2 (ERGOCALCIFEROL).
