PatriciaNY
I'm thinking of making my own homemade almond milk and thought "gee what do I do with the left over pulverized almonds"? Soo my question is would it be compliant to mash up banana and maybe put blueberries and put almond milk on top with maybe some almond butter for breakfast? Otherwise I'm thinking all those almonds would go to waste. I'm new to this forum thingy and am learning lots and I thank you all for your input. Any ideas are much appreciated
jmcbn
Yeah, no - not a good choice for breakfast. Have you seen the recommended meal template? try to make each of your meals to match it - protein, fats & veg. What you are describing is fat, fruit & fat, and whilst technically complaint is not gonna break any old food habits and is a kind of an attempt to replicate a cereal or granola or something. Protein, fat & veggies - at every meal. You'll get the absolute best bang for your buck that way. Fact.
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted September 1, 2016 Moderators Share Posted September 1, 2016 You can save your almond pulp and make almond meal/flour with it (instructions here), which you can use to "bread" chicken or fish and then bake it, or in recipes like these Comfort Noodles.
