Aschurt
I reintroduced gluten before non-gluten and didn't have any issues. Is it still worth it for me to reintroduce non-gluten containing grains?
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted November 24, 2016 Moderators Share Posted November 24, 2016 Yes. While most people seem more likely to have reactions to gluten grains, just because you don't, doesn't mean you won't have a reaction to non-gluten grains. Many people find brown rice problematic, for instance, and that has do with the way it's processed -- because it's less processed than white rice, brown rice actually has more phytic acid, which is the stuff that makes things like nuts and seeds hard for some people to digest.
