BecomingWholeErica
Hi everyone. I'm excited to be doing this program, but I'm suffering from a slight rough patch that is making me and my husband worry for my health. I'm on Day 8 and I feel terribly sick... so sick I thought I had food poisoning. Nausea, diarrhea, stomach cramps (severe), vomiting, headache. And dehydration as result of all of them. I know days 8 and 9 your body is getting used to healing itself. But are these symptoms typical? Should I stop?
Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted December 6, 2016 Moderators Share Posted December 6, 2016 Those are not symptoms of the Whole30... it sounds like you caught a bug of some sort. Lots of fluids, bone broth, rest and if you feel it necessary, a trip to the doctor.
Crastney
W30 will make you feel better - it all depends how bad you were to start with. In very extreme cases, if you were absolutely eating the worse shite possible all day every day, and went straight to whole 30, even then this would be an extreme reaction. As Sugarcube says it's probably a bug/virus - get yourself to a doctor. as I've seen written so many times on here - give us an idea of what you've been eating, food items, quantities, times of day etc, for the past 3 or 4 days, and we'll see if there's anything obvious.
