Whole30 at 60
I want to know if Primal Plants and Vital Reds from Gundry MD are allowed on Whole30. Primal Plants contain fructooligosaccarides from the existing superfood green and metabolic blend. Ingredients are : spinach, broccoli, kale, cinnamon bark, fennel seed, mulberry leaf extract, pine bark extract, rose root extract (rosea root extract), Diindolymethane and Berberine. the metabolic enhancing blend includes green tea leaf extract, giner root, white tea leaf extract, tumeric root extract, bitter melon fruit extract and black pepper. The digestive support blend includes modified citrus pectin, fructo-oliogosacccharides and Bromelain. There is also a probiotic component. Does anyone know anything about these products and if they are Whole 30 compliant?
Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted February 10, 2017 Moderators Share Posted February 10, 2017 Have you looked up any of these ingredients to see if they are on the sneaky sugars list (linked in my signature below) or on the rules? What is this product used for? Is it a drink? A pill? What else is in the product? If it's a pill they're usually in some kind of non compliant capsule... jmcbn
Fructooligosaccarides is a type of sweetener so it would be out for your Whole30. It is also a high FODMAP for any FODMAP sensitive folk thinking they might substitute sugar with it postW30.
