MaddMac Posted January 15, 2018 Share Posted January 15, 2018 Today is Day 13, but I am finding that when I wake up in the morning, I feel like I could sleep in. I was hoping since giving up alcohol at night, specifically wine, I would be all bright eyed and bushy tailed at 6 am, but honestly just feeling like I could keep sleeping another two hours. This is with 8 hours of sleep. I once read that Albert Einstein slept 12 hours every night, but hey, I'm no Albert Einstein. Is this normal? I am 52 years old, and perimenopausal. The only reason I bring that up is because I am in the middle of my cycle and experience cramps two weeks before my period and have to use a heating pad (not taking any meds). So maybe it's that.
