MaddMac
Today is Day 13, but I am finding that when I wake up in the morning, I feel like I could sleep in. I was hoping since giving up alcohol at night, specifically wine, I would be all bright eyed and bushy tailed at 6 am, but honestly just feeling like I could keep sleeping another two hours. This is with 8 hours of sleep. I once read that Albert Einstein slept 12 hours every night, but hey, I'm no Albert Einstein. Is this normal? I am 52 years old, and perimenopausal. The only reason I bring that up is because I am in the middle of my cycle and experience cramps two weeks before my period and have to use a heating pad (not taking any meds). So maybe it's that. Administrators ladyshanny Posted January 15, 2018 Administrators Share Posted January 15, 2018 Could be that. Could be that we tend to want to "hibernate" in winter months. Could be that you are not even halfway through and your body may still be working towards fat adaptation. Could be that your sleep hygiene could use work.
