Day 1: launch off! Completely new to this, so hello all!

Kia ora Whole 30ers. I'm Jess, I'm 25, I'm from New Zealand, and in late 2012 my diet was possibly the worst it's ever been thus far. My alcohol consumption has been particularly mortifying over the holiday season. I stubbed my toe and stumbled into the Whole30 when I saw it on a friend's Facebook page a few months ago. And today is my day the first.

For breakfast this morning I had organic bacon, avo, fresh basil leaves, two eggs fried in the delicious bacon fat, and some homemade mayo (was stoked to discover that mayo is ridiculously easy to make and delicious AND compatible with this programme) - I'm one of those insufferable sorts who likes to photograph their food, so bear with me.

This is the first time I've ever participated in a forum of this sort - I figured I need all the support I can get. Look forward to following you along on your journeys.
