VanillaMilla
I KNOW I could be prepared for Whole30 if I could just eat these cake bites in the mornings. Superfood Veggie Bites from Costco with the following ingredients: VEGETABLE BLEND (BROCCOLI, CARROTS, CAULIFLOWER, RED BELL PEPPERS, KALE, ONION, ZUCCHINI), BROWN RICE, EGG WHITES, WHOLE EGGS, CANOLA OIL, CORN STARCH, SEASONING BLEND (DRIED ONION, SPICES, SALT, SUGAR, CORN STARCH, NATURAL FLAVOR, TOMATO, ONION, GARLIC POWDER), BLACK PEPPER Can I have this? Thanks! - Vanilla
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted March 3, 2019 Moderators Share Posted March 3, 2019 These have rice, canola oil, corn starch, and sugar. No, you cannot have these on whole30. You might want to review the rules of the program: https://whole30.com/whole30-program-rules/
VanillaMilla
Ok thanks. One link I read says that canola oil is ok (reluctantly https://whole30.com/2013/06/the-official-can-i-have-guide-to-the-whole30/) but I forgot about rice and cornstarch! And was hoping the sugar in the seasoning mix would have been a minimal amount, but I guess you can never know. Thanks!

It's in the ingredients, so it is a no-go. Good news is, you can totally make you own egg and veggie individual quiches in muffin tins and have them for breakfast No need to buy already made!
