Superfood Veggie Cakes from Costco

Recommended Posts

I KNOW I could be prepared for Whole30 if I could just eat these cake bites in the mornings. Superfood Veggie Bites from Costco with the following ingredients:

VEGETABLE BLEND (BROCCOLI, CARROTS, CAULIFLOWER, RED BELL PEPPERS, KALE, ONION, ZUCCHINI), BROWN RICE, EGG WHITES, WHOLE EGGS, CANOLA OIL, CORN STARCH, SEASONING BLEND (DRIED ONION, SPICES, SALT, SUGAR, CORN STARCH, NATURAL FLAVOR, TOMATO, ONION, GARLIC POWDER), BLACK PEPPER

Can I have this? Thanks!

Ok thanks. One link I read says that canola oil is ok (reluctantly https://whole30.com/2013/06/the-official-can-i-have-guide-to-the-whole30/)
but I forgot about rice and cornstarch! And was hoping the sugar in the seasoning mix would have been a minimal amount, but I guess you can never know.
Thanks!

Even if the sugar was minimal, it would still not be compliant. It's in the ingredients, so it is a no-go.

Good news is, you can totally make you own egg and veggie individual quiches in muffin tins and have them for breakfast :) No need to buy already made!
