ksk
The book says to fill the rest of your plate with veggies after you put on your portion size of protein. Can you pretty much eat unlimited non-starchy veggies and just be careful on the starchier ones like sweet potatoes? Kim
Moderators Tom Denham Posted June 19, 2012 Moderators Share Posted June 19, 2012 You can eat veggies until you are full, but you probably shouldn't do what my room mate did one night while watching TV... he ate an entire head of cabbage, one leaf at a time. He showed me the core when he was finished. Eating big portions at meals is fine. Grazing for hours is not a good idea. I don't think you were asking if you could graze, but I wanted to tell that cabbage story.
Summer
Tom, I am sitting here eating cabbage leaves one by one and just laughing thinking about your roommate. I don't think I am going to quite polish off the entire head though.
CAK911
The cabbage story is pretty good, so I completely understand the urge to tell it.
