Laketon79
I'm wondering about the lemon juice I've been using to make fruit snacks so I can get gelatin in me (gag!) The ingredients are: lemon juice from concentrate, sodium benzoate, sodium metabisulfite and sodium sulfite, lemon oil
Susan W
Yikes no..set that aside. Those sulfites are big things to avoid. Fruit snacks are also close to a candy treat which you want to avoid. Can you make bone broth to get some gelatin? I also have heard people liking Great Lakes gelatin in their coffee. The green can does not gel. I just ordered some from Amazon. Some say it's tasteless and others say it tastes boney...lovely.
jent103
I found organic lemon juice that didn't have the nasties in it - or you could always just juice the lemons, if the fruit snacks are necessary.
Robin Strathdee
I'm going to jump in here and say fruit snacks are pretty much never necessary. Add some high quality gelatin to tea, soups, broths. Make your own broth. Or just skip it for 30 days. But let's put the fruit snacks down and walk away...slowly... Ana Tavares
Do your own bone broth for the gelatin ! It's worth it.
