nloki
I just want to make sure I'm understanding the food plan correctly. If I make veggies and meat sautéed in 1/2 tbsp of coconut oil do I also need to add another source of fat like some avocado?
Moderators Tom Denham Posted September 20, 2013 Moderators Share Posted September 20, 2013 Maybe. If the meat is lean, the tiny amount of fat from the cooking oil would not be enough. On the other hand, if the meat is ground pork, you would be okay without adding additional fat.
LauraLish
The meal template calls for 1-2 thumbs of fat per meal. A thumb for me is about 1 tbsp. A thumb for my bf is about 1.5 tbsp. It is relative to your body size. That being said, add enough fat to every meal to equal 1-2 thumbs. An avocado half equals one thumb.
