raquelzucchi
I used the "search" bar for pancetta but found nothing. Where I buy it it's just raw pork belly meat. When heated/fried it is similar to bacon. Is it allowed? Sorry if it's a dumb question, hahaha.
missmary
Pancetta is actually cured pork belly meat, and the cure will have ingredients. usually it's just salt, which is fine. sometimes there is also sugar, which is not. Read the label to know for sure. Pancetta without any off-plan ingredients is ok to eat on a whole30.

I guess I named it wrong, then hahaha I just buy natural pork belly from the meat market, with nothing added to it. So I reckon it's allowed.. thank you
