Lisa L
I was reading the ingredients on my Yogi tea bag this morning - who checks the ingredients of a tea bag?? Anyway, the second to the last ingredient is "stevia leaf" Now, I KNOW Stevia is out due to the processing etc, but what about stevia leaf, as in a dried leaf in a tea? Too close to sugar? I can switch teas if needed but this one has a little caffeine and I like it.
missmary
Sorry, Stevia leaf still counts as a sweetener for the purposes of a whole30. For what's it's worth, I'm really liking Tazo's Wild Sweet Orange. That one is compliant.
Lisa L
Thanks. I will put it in my drawer for later and drink another tea instead.
praxisproject
Lots of the Twinings teas are compliant
KatMar
I just found out that my Berry Detox contains stevia, which I would never have suspected as it's not remotely sweet. Upset, I was! Good thing I noticed before Day 1.
praxisproject
I was horrified to find my favourite Celestial Seasoning teas were all full of soy
