Moderators Tom Denham Posted March 7, 2014 Moderators Share Posted March 7, 2014 Read the ingredient list of anything you are interested in. We avoid recommending brands because vendors change ingredients from time to time and something that used to be okay may stop being okay.
GFChris
Teriyaki is not likely to be compliant as it typically contains soy. Coconut aminos would be my first choice for stir frying on a Whole30.
jent103
I haven't tried this one from Well Fed, but I like pretty much everything Melissa Joulwan comes up with! http://www.theclothesmakethegirl.com/2009/10/29/best-stir-fry-sauce-ever%E2%84%A2-for-real/
Vian
Almost every pre-packaged asian sauce has soy and/or sugar in it. Usually both. This is my go-to recipe for a quick, easy stirfry sauce. I use it on mixed veggies mostly. 1/4 c. coconut aminos 1 tbs. fish sauce (like red boat) 1 tbs. grated fresh ginger 2 grated cloves garlic 2 tbs. cooking oil red pepper flakes and salt to taste. Finish with a drizzle of sesame oil after cooking your veggies.
