Ashley
Whole Foods sells this stuff called Kale Krunch. According to the packaging, it's raw, dairy free, gluten free, sugar free, soy free. Ingredients: Kale*, Cashew*, Red Bell Pepper, Lemon Juice*, Nutritional Yeast, Himalayan Crystal Salts and Blessings. *Organic. What do you all think? Moderators Tom Denham Posted August 2, 2012 Moderators Share Posted August 2, 2012 Sounds okay, but it would be better and cheaper to just make your own kale chips. Here is how I do it... http://www.wholelifeeating.com/2011/01/pork-ribs-with-sauerkraut-and-kale-chips/
Jeanye Mercer
Tom's right, of course. Any of those commercial kale products I've seen are ridiculously overpriced. The real deal is by far my favorite veggie. I could eat it everyday!
Delaine Ross
I just had a "food emergency" - a busy day, nothing prepared or defrosted when I got home and my plan of grabbing a Whole Foods rotisserie chicken was thwarted when they only had the kind with cane syrup. Kale Krunch is saving the day by filling me up enough to regain sanity and make good choices
