Days 28 and 29: done

 

I'm almost finished with day 30 - can't really quite believe it..but I'll catch up on 28 and 29 for now.

 

28:

Snack
7:20am
Meatball, coconut chips, cashews

Meal 1
9:15am
Scrambled eggs on spinach, avocado
+ liquorice tea

Meal 2
2pm
Meatballs, sweet potato, salad, aubergine, tomatoes, olives

 

I then spent several hours preparing dinner for myself and two friends - a picnic which we ate at Kew Gardens, at the Elvis Costello concert :)

Meal 3
7:45pm

Stovetop Pork Carnitas, herb “rice” salad, strawberry bruschetta, pistachios, raspberries

 

The pork carnitas ... oh, so good. I even ate all the fat (from a good butcher!).

29:

Meatballs, sweet potato, herb “rice” salad, strawberry bruschetta on spinach

Meal 2
1:40pm
Meatball, cashews, apple

Snack
4:30pm
Cashews, dried apricot

Meal 3
9:30pm
Herb crusted salmon, butternut squash, salad

I'm in Hove at the moment.. hence the beach, and the new dog friend.

Day 30: all done!!

Meatball, macadamia nuts

Meal 1
9:30am

You're The Top Tuna Salad, spinach, cucumber, roasted red pepper

Meal 2
2:30pm

Poached eggs on spinach, butternut squash, olives, tomatoes. blueberries, cherries

Meal 3
8:30pm

Cinnamon beef stew, sweet potato, broccoli, salad

Feeling pretty damn good and proud of myself. I think if my new buddy Ruby knew what I'd done, she'd be pleased for me too.

 

I'm now going to follow the re-introduction guidelines for the next 10 days - 2 weeks. I have a couple of social events this week so it will be extra challenging to stay off the booze, but I'm feeling no desire to drink just yet. Nervous of how bad it might make me feel anyway!

I am really impressed with your w30, especially since you moved around so much and didn't always know where you'd land. Great job! Curious about your results and how your reintro is going. . . .
